The Birthplace at Community Hospital Offers Scheduled Tours

New Port Richey, Florida (May 28, 2010) – The Birthplace at Community Hospital has announced that it is now offering scheduled tours through its Family Education Program. The tours are offered by a Registered Nurse Educator who will meet with small groups and guide them through the Birthplace. The next tour date is June 19, 2010.

Those who tour the Birthplace visit the labor, delivery, recovery, post-partum rooms (LDRP rooms) and observe the Birthplace’s Infant Safety and Security Program. Those who tour are invited to bring questions with them. Spots are limited and reservations are required.

Community Hospital’s Birthplace is located at 5637 Marine Parkway, New Port Richey, Florida 34652. It is the only existing maternity unit in west Pasco.
